Long deployment process of SharePoint hosted AddIns from Visual Studio to Office365 Online

Question

Recently my company acquired “Office 365 E1 - SharePoint Online (Plan 1)” subscriptions for myself and a few colleagues, with the intention of developing and deploying apps on the online platform. Unfortunately sometimes the deployment process takes upwards of 45 minutes, and when it does take that long, it sometimes collapses. Granted, this is the exception, not the rule, but nevertheless it is an occurrence, that sometimes appears even when a (minor) change is applied. The last time, I just added a file of about 3 MB to the app. What can be done to prevent this phenomenon in the future? For us is of paramount importance the smooth development and deployment of our add-ins. Any help would be kindly appreciated.
