Magento 2 Disable Date of Birth Calendar, customer should not able to pick the date on Account edit page

Question

We have custom requirement in Magento 2 , where customer not able update the DOB again and again because we are running some campaign to get 1000 Reward points for every customers birthday but for now as he can edit DOB from my account section so it is possibility to misuse it.

Now we are thinking that DOB field should editable only once from My account section and if he go to edit again, DOB calendar should be not editable or disable it.

Currently we are thinking to set count and save in DB and on the databases values we can enable or disable calendar.

Please share us if anyone have idea or suggestion to achieve it.And please also share how we can disable the calendar so customer not able to pick the date.

We are using default Magento 2 date of birth functionality.
