Question

What web frameworks do you use, and what's good about them? What would you like to see changed? What made you switch away from The Framework You Don't Use Anymore?

Was it helpful?

Solution

Currently I'm using Werkzeug for part of a project at work. It's pretty lightweight and very extensible. But you need know what you want to get out of it. Django is excellent, except for the default template language. Ruby on rails was a real pain to deploy last time I checked.

OTHER TIPS

I'm using XAF from DevExpress.com.

If you're doing .Net, it's definitely worth a look.

The project is at the early beta stage, but so far the framework has been completely reliable.

For PHP there is Codeigniter, KohanaPHP, and CakePHP. They are all pretty OK. My personal favorite is CakePHP.
