Android: ¿Cómo volver a la actividad con el atributo "NOHistory" después de OnStop?

Estaba buscando una forma de eliminar una determinada actividad de la pila de historias y encontré una solución aquí (Wakkas's Bomer) .Sin embargo, si crojo la aplicación con esta actividad abierta, por ejemplo.Al presionar el botón de inicio, y luego regresar a él, la actividad no se restaura.

Si quito el atributo "NOHistory", está regresando y también restaurado después de una muerte.

¿Hay alguna manera de hacer que no aparezca en la pila de historia (= no quiere volver al presionar el botón Atrás en la siguiente actividad) sin este comportamiento?

I don't think so - leaving the activity via the "Home" button and opening a new activity will have the same effect: if your activity is not in the history stack, it should not be restored.

Instead of using the "noHistory" attribute, couldn't you just call finish() as you launch your next activity? It should not re-appear when you then hit the "back" button.
