Yo uso rsync para sincronizar los archivos para los clientes de Windows en un servidor agnóstico manera.Qué métodos están disponibles para enviar el progreso de rsync para que el proceso padre para que se muestre en una interfaz gráfica de usuario de la barra de progreso?
Me imagino que dos o tres opciones existen.(1) Reloj STDOUT (2) Reloj rsync.exe registro de archivo, similar a unix tail
(3) Ver rsync salida de la consola en la memoria.
Cual es el mejor/preferido?

Para este tipo de tareas, puedo usar mi propio AutoIt script (freeware, sólo en Windows).La secuencia de comandos, se redirige la salida estándar en una ventana gráfica, mostrando con la capacidad para desplazarse hacia atrás, etc (muy útil en procesos largos como XCOPYs / PKZIPs para comprobar si hay un error ha ocurrido).
Yo uso AutoIt porque es gratis, muy fácil de usar, y puede compilar rápidamente en una .EXE.Creo que es una excelente alternativa a un lenguaje de programación completo para este tipo de tareas.La desventaja es que es sólo para Windows.

Otros consejos
.NET tiene un muy sencillo para leer y ver la salida estándar (STDOUT).
Supongo que esta sería la forma más limpia, ya que no depende de ningún archivos externos, sólo el camino a rsync.Yo no estaría muy sorprendido si hay un contenedor de la biblioteca a cabo allí.Si no, escribir y de código abierto,:)
He construido mi propio objeto simple para esto, tengo un montón de reutilización de ella, me puede envolver con un cmdline
