Estoy intentando imprimir un valor seleccionado, ¿es posible?

Usted sabe, puede haber una manera más fácil, pero el primero que le viene a la mente es:

Select @SumVal=Sum(Amount) From Expense;
Print @SumVal;

Si desea imprimir varias filas, puede recorrer el resultado mediante el uso de un cursor. p.ej. imprimir todos los nombres de sys.database_principals

Añadir
PRINT 'Hardcoded table name -' + CAST(@@RowCount as varchar(10))
inmediatamente después de la consulta.
También puede utilizar el sp_MSforeachtable procedimiento almacenado como tal, si usted está mirando para hacer esto para cada tabla:
sp_MSforeachtable @command1 ="PRINT 'TABLE NAME: ' + '?' DECLARE @RowCount INT SET @RowCount = (SELECT COUNT(*) FROM ?) PRINT @RowCount"
Si lo desea (como yo) para tener resultados con filas haya numerosas de diversas consultas SELECT "etiquetados" y no puede manejar esta dentro de las limitaciones de la instrucción PRINT en concierto con la ficha Mensajes que podría darle la vuelta y sólo tiene que añadir mensajes a la pestaña de resultados por el siguiente:
