Ruby Mechanize obtenant une exception force_encoding

Au moins parfois lorsque je navigue sur une page, j'obtiens cette exception

undefined method `force_encoding' for #<String:0x898922c>

Quelqu'un d'autre a vu ce problème?

Probablement un bug d’incompatibilité 1.8 dans Mechanize:

Oui, après le hack de pierre précieuse au-dessus, cela fonctionne.
