La meilleure façon d'encapsuler rsync progrès dans une interface graphique?

Question
J'utilise rsync pour la synchronisation de fichiers pour les clients Windows dans un serveur de façon agnostique.Quelles sont les méthodes disponibles pour l'envoi de la progression de rsync pour le processus parent pour l'afficher dans une interface graphique, la barre de progression?
J'imagine que deux ou trois choix existent.(1) Montre STDOUT (2) Regarder rsync.exe fichier journal, semblable à unix tail
(3) Montre rsync sortie de la console dans la mémoire.
Lequel est le meilleur/préférée?
La solution
Pour ce type de tâches, j'utilise ma propre AutoIt script (freeware, Windows uniquement).Le script redirige la sortie standard dans une fenêtre graphique, l'affichage avec la possibilité de revenir en arrière, etc (très utile dans le long processus comme XCOPYs / PKZIPs pour vérifier si aucune erreur ne se produisent).
J'utilise AutoIt parce que c'est gratuit, très facile à utiliser, et permet de compiler rapidement dans une .EXE.Je pense que c'est une excellente alternative à un langage de programmation complet pour ce type de tâches.L'inconvénient est que c'est uniquement pour Windows.

Autres conseils
.NET est très simple à lire et à regarder la sortie standard (STDOUT).
Je suppose que ce serait la façon la plus propre, car il ne dépend d'aucun des fichiers externes, tout le chemin à rsync.Je ne serais pas trop surpris si il y a une bibliothèque d'encapsulation y soit.Si non, écrivez et open source, il :)
J'ai construit mon propre objet simple pour cela, je reçois beaucoup de réutilisation en dehors de ça, je peux conclure avec un cmdline

, écrire la sortie dans un fichier, etc---
