come aggiungere la firma a un trigger DDL?

Ho un trigger DDL su un database. Voglio aggiungere una firma ad esso, dal certificato. Ho pieno diritto sa, ma quando provo ad eseguire l'istruzione

ADD SIGNATURE TO OBJECT::[objects_monitoring]
BY CERTIFICATE [mail_certificate] 
WITH PASSWORD = 'password1';
GO

ottengo il seguente errore

Msg 15151, Level 16, State 1, Line 2
Cannot alter the object 'objects_monitoring', because it does not exist or you do not have permission.

Come posso fare per aggiungere la firma a questo trigger DDL?
