Imposta valore sul campo personalizzato durante l'invio

È possibile impostare un valore automatico su un campo personalizzato durante l'invio del post in WordPress?

Quando post posso avere bisogno che questo campo personalizzato prenda automaticamente la prima lettera del titolo del post.

Esempio: se il mio titolo è "Esempio" Il valore del campo personalizzato è "E".

Sì è possibile.Se stai aggiungendo un campo personalizzato da una meta box puoi fare in questo modo:

// add action to create your custom field
add_action( 'add_meta_boxes', 'create_meta_box'  );

Ovviamente dovrai cambiare sample in questo caso al nome del tuo campo Meta Data.
