cache di contatore non aggiorna ma posso salvare il genitore e il bambino

Question

Ho aggiunto una cache contatore, ma non riesco a farlo da aggiornare. Ma posso aggiornare il genitore - il modello post sul blog con l'aggiunta di un nuovo post sul blog - e posso aggiornare il bambino - modella - con l'aggiunta di un nuovo commento. La cache contatore dovrebbe tenere traccia del numero totale di commenti per post sul blog per auto-aggiornamento del campo blog_posts.comments_count. Io delineare alcuni dei passi che ho passato e si spera che qualcuno se ne accorga qualcosa che ho fatto di sbagliato. La discarica schema è alla fine.

Ho un modello post sul blog:

Ho creato una migrazione per aggiungere la colonna counter_cache alla tabella blog_posts:

Ma la migrazione non riesce ad aggiornare i post del blog con il CURRENT_COUNT. E 'sempre zero.

Date un'occhiata al codice aggiornato da Railscasts episodio 23 su counter_cache.

Gli attributi contatore sono attr_readonly. Forse update-contatori è ciò che è necessario utilizzare al posto di attributi aggiornamento nella migrazione?
