Sto utilizzando il metodo seguente per inviare la posta da Python utilizzando il protocollo SMTP.È il giusto metodo per utilizzare o ci sono problemi mi sto perdendo ?

Soluzione
Lo script che uso io è molto simile;I post-it qui come un esempio di come utilizzare l'e-mail.* i moduli per generare messaggi MIME;quindi, questo script può essere facilmente modificato per allegare le immagini, etc.
Faccio affidamento sul mio ISP per aggiungere la data e l'ora di intestazione.
Il mio ISP mi richiede di utilizzare una sicura connessione smtp per inviare la posta, faccio affidamento sul smtplib modulo (scaricabile http://www1.cs.columbia.edu/~db2501/ssmtplib.py)
Come nel tuo script, il nome utente e la password, (dato valori fittizi di seguito), utilizzati per l'autenticazione sul server SMTP, sono in testo normale in origine.Questa è una debolezza di sicurezza;ma l'alternativa migliore, dipende da come la si fa attenzione, si ha bisogno (o voglia?) per essere circa la protezione di queste.

Che è
Anche se si vuole fare smtp auth TLS anziché SSL poi basta cambiare la porta (uso 587) e non smtp.starttls().Questo ha funzionato per me:

smtp.ehlo()
smtp.login('USERNAME@DOMAIN', 'PASSWORD')

Il principale aspetto negativo che vedo è che non siete la gestione di eventuali errori:.login() e .sendmail() entrambi hanno documentato le eccezioni che si può buttare, e sembra .connect() deve avere qualche modo per indicare che non è stato in grado di connettersi - probabilmente un'eccezione generata dal socket sottostante codice.
Assicurarsi che non hai nessun firewall che bloccano SMTP.La prima volta che ho provato a inviare una e-mail, è stato bloccato dal Firewall di Windows e McAfee ha preso sempre a trovare entrambi.

È necessario accertarsi che il formato della data nel formato corretto - RFC2822.

Effettivamente chiudere quando si va fuori del campo di applicazione (o può essere chiuso manualmente).Inoltre, vi permetterà di registrare il tuo nome utente nel portachiavi, in modo tale che non è necessario scrivere la tua password nel tuo script (mi dava fastidio prima di scrivere yagmail!)
