La mia chiamata AJAX non restituisce nulla, ma non sta venendo a mancare sia

sto guardando Firebug e vedo verything viene inviato correttamente, ma non ho ricevuto alcuna risposta di sorta. Oh, e sto usando JavaScript cruda perché voglio metterla in pratica. =)

Si sta tentando di fare cross-domain XMLHttpRequest. Non funziona anche se il servizio può essere sostenuto JSONP. Per fare una richiesta JSOP, vi sia bisogno di iniettare un tag <script> con i gestori di eventi corretti o utilizzare un framework come jQuery.

Se si utilizza jQuery si potrebbe fare questo semplice

$.load("http://twitter.com/statuses/user_timeline/"+username,
function(data)
{
alert(data);
}
);

che stamperà l'usertimeline per il dato nome utente
