É possível avaliar repositório Jackrabbit usando HTTP simples?

Como eu entendo que deve ser nativamente disponível em Jackrabbit 1,6 (Eu encontrei esta entrada do blog http://dev.day.com/microsling/content/blogs/main/jrnativehttp.html ), mas não consigo encontrar qualquer configuração de exemplo.

Se você não usar o servidor independente, você pode usar a distribuição guerra Jackrabbit. O padrão web.xml já está configurado para expor o CCI-sobre-webdav comunicação remota em /server, por exemplo.
