Como implementar o evento “DOM Ready” em um script GreaseMonkey?

Estou tentando modificar meu script GreaseMonkey de ser acionado em window.onload para window.DOMContentLoaded, mas esse evento nunca é acionado.

Estou usando FireFox 2.0.0.16/GreaseMonkey 0.8.20080609

Esse é o script completo que estou tentando modificar, alterando:

window.addEventListener ("load", doStuff, false);

para

window.addEventListener ("DOMContentLoaded", doStuff, false);

Então eu pesquisei no Google Greasemonkey Dom pronto e a primeiro resultado parecia dizer que o script graxamonkey está realmente rodando em "DOM ready", então você só precisa remover a chamada onload e executar o script imediatamente.

Eu removi o window.addEventListener ("load", function() { e }, false); embrulhando e funcionou perfeitamente.Isso é muito mais responsivo dessa forma, a página aparece imediatamente com seu script aplicado a ela e todas as perguntas invisíveis destacadas, sem nenhuma oscilação.E houve muita alegria....sim.

Os próprios scripts GreaseMonkey são executados em DOMContentLoaded, portanto, é desnecessário adicionar um manipulador de eventos de carregamento - basta fazer com que seu script faça o que for necessário imediatamente.
