Para aqueles de nós que trabalham em C #, no Windows SDK há uma aplicação "UACDemo" como parte das "amostras Tecnologia Cruz". Eles descobrir se o usuário atual é um administrador usando este método:

Eu não acho que tipo de elevação é a resposta que você quer. Você só quer saber se ele é elevado. Use TokenElevation vez de TokenElevationType quando você chamar GetTokenInformation. Se a estrutura retorna um valor positivo, o usuário é admin. Se zero, o usuário é a elevação normal.
