KeepaliveException Ao usar httpwebrequest.getResponse

Estou tentando postar um anexo no CouchDB usando o httpwebrequest. No entanto, quando tento "Response = (httpwebropSo) httpwebrequest.getResponse ();" Recebo uma WebException com a mensagem "A conexão subjacente foi fechada: uma conexão que deveria ser mantida viva foi fechada pelo servidor".
Encontrei alguns artigos informando que definir o Keepalive a False and Httpversion como 1.0 resolve a situação. Estou descobrindo que ele não está edificando exatamente o mesmo erro, além de não quero adotar essa abordagem, pois não quero usar a versão 1.0 devido à forma como ela lida com a conexão.
Quaisquer sugestões ou idéias são bem -vindas. Vou experimentar todos até que alguém funcione!

Solução
Depois de uma quantidade considerável de pesquisas sobre o assunto, decidi usar o put. Enquanto o Futon usa o método Post, ele não é documentado. Para quem ler isso no futuro, use o método PUT, ele tornará sua vida muito mais fácil.
