Использование приложения ODBC с драйвером JDBC

Моя компания использует Вертикальность. Отказ У нас есть приложения Python, которые подключаются к нему с PyoDBC. Я делаю большую часть своего развития на Mac (Snow Leopard), и, к сожалению, Vertica не выпустила драйверы ODBC для Mac. У них есть драйверы JDBC, хотя. Я не думаю, что развивается в Jython - хороший компромисс. Есть ли способ использовать драйверы JDBC с приложением ODBC? Какой-то разъем ODBC?

Вот патч, чтобы сделать PSYCOPG2 2.2.1 работать с Vertica 4.0. Нет нужна ODBC.

В версии 6 есть родные драйверы ODBC для Mac OS X доступны из https://my.vertica.com. портал
