I have a code, which is based on a code from LGPLv2.1 class. (Not just linking, but really directly copying pieces of code.)

I want to distribute it under GPLv2.0.

Can this combination pose some problem?

Section 3 of LGPL 2.1 says "You may opt to apply the terms of the ordinary GNU General Public License instead of this License to a given copy of the Library."
