I'm looking for a way to automatically track development time as this question asks exactly, but I would specifically like to do it in Linux (Ubuntu).

My IDE of choice is Emacs, so perhaps there's an Emacs-specific time tracking solution.

Basically, I would like the timer to measure non-idle activity (pause after say 1 minute of the keyboard being idle).

Project Hamster is an example of a nice clean non-automated tracking app for Linux that I'm aware of.
