Add a web part (listview) using an existing folder location

Using SharePoint server 2007 - I would like to create a web part to display the contents of a folder that already exists in the domain.

How would i go about completing this task?

You can use Page Viewer Web Part to display folders. You need to type in the address in format like file://\\somenetworkserver\networkfolder.

Or you can use 3rd party web part, like this.
