More On Alpha Blend Mode in Winform

Question

Is there any new or easier way to edit the Alpha Blend Mode in Winform so That Images with "shadow effect" that are "*png" format can be used as background image for form and that transparent effect will still be there

NB :- - I've tried the TransparentKey equivalent the BackColor properties method and - OverRiding OnPaintBucket too

Overtime I found that support for Winforms have really being deprecated at such, encouraging the use of WPF. Nonetheless there are several WINFORM libraries available to suite the need for good UI in windows desktop programming. e.g DevExpress etc
