Cannot install my android app on genymotion device

Question

I started to test genymotion, for that i installed the genymotion plugin for eclipse. I am able to start the device from inside eclipse but I cannot install my android application on the device. I tried it like this:

1. Run-as--> Android Applicaitomn
2. Choosing my device which has been started in genymotion

Anyone an idea what might be te problem?

Do you have something like this in your AndroidManifest.xml?

android:installLocation="preferExternal"

I had the same error and removing this helped me.

Try to remove this for install the app on genymotion.
