Question

I'm getting this error when I trying to open a timepicker or datepicker from a fragment. I know that it is a context problem, but I don't know how to solve it.

TimePickerFragmentListener activity = (TimePickerFragmentListener) getActivity();

The problem is that your Activity does not implement TimePickerFragmentListener. You implement it in your NewEventFragment, so you could alternatively start your dialog this way:

    newFragment.setTargetFragment(this, 0);
    newFragment.show(this.getFragmentManager(), "timePicker");
}

and access the parent fragment with getTargetFragment:
