Some recent versions of SharePoint can be accessed via the CMIS protocol.

Which versions natively support CMIS?

Which versions support CMIS by installing an official Microsoft addon?

• SharePoint 2013 Foundation: NO
• SharePoint Server 2013: YES disabled by default
• SharePoint 2010 Foundation: NO
• SharePoint Server 2010: YES via extension
• SharePoint 2007 Foundation: NO
• SharePoint Server 2007: YES via extension

By the way, if you are interested in CMIS support for SharePoint Online (Office365), please ask Microsoft to implement it.

I believe this support started with SharePoint 2010 by Microsoft bringing out the CMIS Connector, however this is an additional install. However it is available in SharePoint 2013, out of the box.
