Question

What kind of programming languages are used in the electronic industry (Mostly in Aeronautics) ?

Was it helpful?

Solution

I worked in the Aeronautics domain for 8 years, and I saw mostly C for small embedded embedded systems and C++ for medium and large systems as primary languages. Of course you will see Ada for older systems and Java for new larger systems. Also, some company have a Model-Driven Design tool like Rational Rhapsody that generates the code for you.

OTHER TIPS

ADA and C++ are common. Its also common to have A and B code running in parallel for vital modules.
