Is there any solution to build a dynamic growth NAS device with the safety of RAID5 but different disk sizes?

I have a lot of old HDDs here (300GB to 2TB). Does any technology exist to combine them all and use it as a NAS?

I also want to add new harddisks to it as soon as the current system gets closer to its capacity maximum.

RAID5 is not a real option (currently running it). All disks must be same size. This prevents the usage of old disks and also newer disk increase in capacity.

I'm wondering if ZFS or Btrfs could fulfill my requirements, but actually I can not find the answer on internet.

Technically it's not so hard to do: The disk can be 'partioned' to sizes of some GB. And each partition can act like a own RAID5. On top there is a technology combining this.

Increasing storage/Rebuilding a defective array should not be a problematic task. Best would be any web interface.

Does something like that exist?

This isn't the right place to ask hardware related questions. But have you looked at drobo or even freenas. I own a drobo and know it allows different sized drives to be used together to form a raid like system. I'm also pretty sure that freenas does the same.
