Question

I have a free account with archive.org and don't know if the terms allow (or if it's even possible) to upload unlimited data to http://archive.org

Does that service list any upload limits?

Was it helpful?

Solution

Nothing is unlimited. Each submission to archive.org is evaluated regarding how useful it is to one of their projects. For example, if you’re uploading a rare Bing Crosby recording, they’ll make room for it. Of course, everything you upload is publicly available. They typically don’t accept submissions unless they serve the public good.

It’s best to check their site’s rules for a specific project.
