Question

I had set limits on a Time Machine volume on an external hard drive but I'm unable to view it with the "View Info" menu option. I understand we can't change them once created but is there a way to see its quota limits?

Was it helpful?

Solution

Yes you can with the terminal command :

diskutil ap list diskX

where diskX is to be replaced by the Container "Time Machine" identifier

On my Mac i get this :

    diskutil ap list disk4
