Question

My laptop is equipped with following CPU details:

processor 0 intel core 2 quad
processor 1 intel core 2 quad
processor 2 intel core 2 quad
processor 3 intel core 2 quad

As each processor is a quad core does that mean I have total 16 cores of CPU available for processing?

Was it helpful?

Solution

No, each "processor n intel core 2 quad" is one of the four cores in your one CPU.
