Question

Possible Duplicate:
Download older versions of Google Chrome for Linux

I need for a project an older version of Chrome Dev or Beta, because some code has broken, that worked in earlier versions. (The code is only used for a demonstration)

So to get the demo running I need older versions of the chrome dev or beta builds.

Does anybody know if their are somewhere prebuild versions for Linux (.deb)?

Was it helpful?

Solution

Try the following locations

Alternately if using Chromium instead of Chrome is acceptable, then follow the instructions Chromium How to Get the Code to get the source code, then build into a deb using instructions located Ubuntu Chromium Build.

OTHER TIPS

At least some deb package versions (4, 10, 11, ...) are available at

http://www.afterdawn.com/software/network/browsers/google_chrome_linux.cfm/v4_0_249_43_beta#all_versions

I'm not sure if there are some unmet dependencies, though.
