Question

This is a duplicate post from the Datomic Mailing list. I was wondering if I could ask for a second set of eyes.

I tried doing A) which runs without error. But I later get an empty result when querying. So I tried hard-coding, as in B). However, this errors, saying that a date is not a valid uuid for attribute :tags/name... But nowhere in that transact, am I trying to set the :tags/name attribute. I'm setting the date for the :posts/created-date and the :posts/modified-date. I'm completely at a loss here.

If I inspect the database, as in C), I can see that my schema is indeed there. My schema is at the bottom. Any insights are appreciated.

Solution

Looking at your schema, it appears that all your schema/attribute definitions have the same id: -1000139. I'm guessing that's the cause of the mysterious error on tags\name when you changing the value of posts\modified-date.

I'm not sure how this has come about - perhaps check the code that you used to create the schema. Example below:
