Agregar árbol de categoría en extensión personalizada

Estoy tratando de agregar el árbol de categoría a la extensión personalizada, el árbol de categoría que se encuentra en una de las pestañas de la página de edición del producto

En su archivo de formulario donde agrega las pestañas de su entidad personalizada, agregue esto también:

Ahora procedamos al ahorro de sus datos.
Para esto, necesitará lo siguiente en uno de los scripts de instalación/actualización de su módulo. Esto creará una tabla donde se almacenarán los valores vinculados

Al menos para Magento 1.9 debes asegurarte de que los extjs están cargados.
Use uno de los siguientes métodos para activar el uso de extjs en el backend:

1. En su controlador usa esto:

   $this->getLayout()->getBlock('head')->setCanLoadExtJs(true);
   

2. En su diseño XML use esto:
