Spring Data Neo4j fails junit test setup

Question

I evaluate some stacks accessing neo4j (2.0.0) and have some problems with spring (3.2.6). What I am trying to achieve right now is very simple: a unit test connecting the graph and reading a node. My application context looks like this:

The test itself is pretty simple, too:

Running this (empty) test fails when creating the application context. There were lots of errors before which I manage to solve, mainly by fixing the dependency tree, but this one I do not understand. The exception tells me that a node is not available -- but I did not sent any query yet! So it has something to do with the initialization. I have no idea why. I googled every exception in that trace and did not found a good hint.

The last thing I did was adding the validation api (1.1.0). I use spring 3.2.6 with spring-data 3.0.0, could this be a problem?

It is a version issue.

SDN 3.0.M01 only supports Neo4j 2.0-M06 there have been massive API changes after that, the next version of SDN 3.0.RC1 will support Neo4j 2.0 and is due to released on January 27 2014.
