500 Error de servidor interno al descargar imágenes usando PHP

Recibo el error del servidor interno 500 ejecutando el siguiente script, aunque estoy descargando e insertando las imágenes DB 80 a la vez:

¿Estoy haciendo algo mal que obliga al servidor a detenerse? O en caso de que no sea eficiente lo que puedo hacer para hacerlo así. O tal vez el problema es una configuración del servidor.

Esto se debe a que el tiempo máximo de ejecución del script PHP predeterminado es 30 segundos Y su página está tomando más de 100 segundos.

Puede aumentar el tiempo máximo de ejecución para sus scripts PHP utilizando el archivo .htaccess

Agregue las siguientes líneas a su .htaccess expediente

php_value max_execution_time 8000
php_value max_input_time 4000

También puede establecer el límite en php.ini expediente

max_execution_time 8000
max_input_time 4000
