Estoy tratando de instalar Laravel Mi problema es:

/ localhost / Laravel muestra su contenido como las carpetas debajo de él.

Pero estoy esperando algo como el logotipo de Laravel y el texto "Has llegado".

No es tu camino.Debe crear un host virtual y señalar la raíz del host virtual en laravel/public.
