PyQt4 La señalización entre las clases

Tengo una familia de clases (en base a la misma clase padre) que son células de datos en una QTableWidget (por lo que todos ellos se derivan de QItemDelegate).
Estoy intentando crear una señal de que estas clases pueden dejar pasar al controlador para comunicar los cambios de datos.
No puedo encontrar la combinación correcta (a pesar de mucha experimentación y la lectura), que lleva a cabo. Aquí está mi estructura de clases:
Clase Base:
class Criteria(QItemDelegate):
def bind(self, update):
self.connect(self,SIGNAL("criteriaChange(int, int, QVariant)"),update)
def emitCommitData(self):
self.emit(SIGNAL("criteriaChange(int, int, QVariant)"), self.Row, self.Col, self.getValue())
Ejemplo de clase Sub (sólo las partes relevantes - LMK si necesita más información):

El código anterior da una "Subyacente C ++ objeto ha sido eliminado". He intentado esto:

¿Alguna sugerencia? Yo no tengo que usar este método, sino más bien necesito una manera de conseguir que los datos de los controles individuales.

no llamar la inicialización Qt para el objeto apropiado:
