No se puede instalar paquete sun-java6-bin en Ubuntu Hardy (8.04)

Question

Acabo de actualizar a Hardy desde Dapper y no puedo instalar java para la vida de mí:

$ sudo apt-get install sun-java6-bin sun-java6-jre sun-java6-jdk

He inspeccionado /etc/apt/sources.list y corro apt-get update varias veces, pero no hubo suerte:

El paquete sol-java6-bin ya no existe, debido a que el contenido de la misma se encuentra ahora en la paquete -jre. Basta con leer detenidamente el mensaje de error:

However the following packages replace it:
  sun-java6-jre
E: Package sun-java6-bin has no installation candidate

Simplemente tratar sin el paquete -bin:

sudo apt-get install sun-java6-jre sun-java6-jdk

Editar Lo sentimos, acabo de ver que el paquete está en el "multiverso" sección , por lo que debe permitir que antes de ...

La línea que hay que añadir a su sources.list es:

deb http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ hardy multiverse

A continuación, se puede hacer un apt-get update y vuelva a instalar los paquetes.

Al ser un novato total de mi ser. Permítanme poner esto muy fácil, porque yo también tuvo problemas con esto.

Para poder instalar el sol java con el comando "apt-get", es necesario añadir una línea en un archivo llamado "sources.list". Esta línea se puede encontrar en /etc/apt/sources.list. Modificarlo por escrito: nano ../ etc / apt / sources.list

que al final de (parte inferior) de ese archivo, copiar / pegar la línea: deb http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ multiverso Hardy

Ahora pulse Ctrl + X para salir, y "Y" para guardar.

A continuación, escriba el comando: apt-get update Y una vez hecho esto, puede ejecutar correctamente el comando: sudo apt-get install sun-java6-jdk

Trate solamente ..

sudo apt-get install sun-java6-jdk

Esto debería instalar el JRE y cosas bin como dependencias.
