Je veux passer les résultats de utidy Beautiful soupe, ala:
page = urllib2.urlopen(url)
options = dict(output_xhtml=1,add_xml_decl=0,indent=1,tidy_mark=0)
cleaned_html = tidy.parseString(page.read(), **options)
soup = BeautifulSoup(cleaned_html)

Je déduis utidy retourne un document XML en BeautifulSoup veut une chaîne. Est-il un moyen de jeter cleaned_html? Ou suis-je le fais mal et devrait adopter une approche différente?
La solution
Il suffit de str()
autour cleaned_html
lors du passage à BeautifulSoup.
Autres conseils
Convertir la valeur passée à BeautifulSoup dans une chaîne. Dans votre cas, procédez comme suit pour modifier la dernière ligne:
soup = BeautifulSoup(str(cleaned_html))
