Question

Je suis un stagiaire de 18 ans et je découvre scala que j'aime beaucoup :-). Pour se familiariser avec les acteurs scala j'ai écrit une petite simulation avec des engrenages et un contrôleur. Le ActorApplication crée des engrenages N à vitesse aléatoire. L'unité de commande calcule une vitesse de synchronisation à partir des engrenages acteurs. Les engrenages à synchroniser cette étape de vitesse donnée par l'étape (1+ ou 1). La simulation est terminée lorsque tous les rapports ont atteint la vitesse de synchronisation. J'ai développé la simulation dans scala 2.7.7 - et cela a fonctionné comme je m'y attendais (voir résultat ci-dessous). Cependant, quand je swichted la 2.8.0-SNAPSHOT courant j'ai découvert un comportement étrange. Voici le code:

Il y a quelques problèmes avec le code. Avant tout parmi eux, ne le faites pas ceci:

object ActorApplication extends Application 

Lorsque vous utilisez extends Application, la façon dont votre code est exécuté impose un certain nombre de restrictions, telles que ne pas être optimisable par le JIT et, un intérêt particulier pour votre cas, les discussions ne seront pas correctement. Je trouve qu'il est plus difficile d'expliquer ce qui est arrivé 2.7.7 que ce qui est arrivé à 2,8. Au lieu de cela, il suffit d'écrire un objet normal et définir la méthode de main.

Autres choses:

gearController ! StartSync()

Ne pas faire cela. Toujours envoyer un message à un acteur à l'intérieur d'un acteur, et cette ligne est à l'intérieur de constructeur ActorApplication, ce qui est un acteur. Dans des situations comme celle-ci, vous pouvez faire ceci:

Actor.actor { gearController ! StartSync() }

En parlant de StartSync, ne le faites pas ceci:

case class StartSync

Une classe sans paramètre n'a pas de sens (et obsolète). Au lieu de cela, faites ceci:

case object StartSync

et déposez la parenthèse après StartSync dans les endroits où vous l'utilisez.

En outre, il n'y a rien de mal à scala.util.Random, mais il était plus facile d'abuser sur Scala 2.7 que ce soit sur Scala 2.8, en créant un nouveau générateur de Random à chaque fois que vous avez besoin d'un nombre aléatoire (qui est ce que vous faites dans le code ). Au lieu de cela, le Scala 2.8, tout cela devrait fonctionner:

  private var mySpeed = scala.util.Random.nextInt(1000)

Enfin, il n'y a rien de mal avec soit l'exécution, il est juste le planificateur qui est différent entre eux. En fait, étant donné que vous avez créé une centaine d'acteurs, l'GearController recevait une quantité de temps disproportionnelle d'exécution dans la version Scala 2.7, comme Scala ne crée pas un fil pour chaque acteur.

Maintenant, si vous voulez GearController ne pas partager un fil avec les autres, vous devez utiliser while(true) / receive au lieu de loop / react, comme ceci:

Ce qui produira un résultat tout à fait semblable à ce que 2,7 produit.
