Comment écrire une liste triée par ordre lexicographique dans une grille classée par colonne?

J'ai le résultat de Get-ChildItem
, et je veux itérer sur ces derniers, et afficher leur nom. Par défaut, si j'utilise simplement Write-Host
je l'obtiens la liste le long de la ligne comme ceci:
PerfLogs Program Files Program Files (x86) Python31 Temp Users Windows
Cependant, dire que je sais que je veux divisé en colonnes x, je veux la sortie comme ceci:
PerfLogs Python31 Windows
Program Files Temp
Program Files (x86) Users
Comme vous pouvez le voir, il énumère les colonnes vers le bas d'abord, puis à travers.
Toute idée comment obtenir une sortie comme ça? Idéalement, il utiliserait le plus nombre de colonnes que peuvent tenir à l'écran avec le nom aligné sur la gauche dans chaque colonne.

Mise à jour: le script mis à jour contient quelques corrections et améliorations. Il permet également de personnaliser la sortie de plusieurs façons. Voir les exemples dans les commentaires de script.
