Rotaie Rendering parziale dell'immagine

Question

Mi sto alzando per accelerare sulle rotaie e ho riscontrato un problema strano. Sto eseguendo il rendering di alcune immagini dal database (modelli di immagini collegati a un altro modello, piante). Ho dei problemi quando provo a farlo tramite un parziale. Ho show.html.erb

Quando viene visualizzato, viene visualizzato solo un " # " per ogni immagine, piuttosto che l'immagine reale. Sembra solo rendere l'oggetto come una stringa, come nella fonte che ottengo:

Mi dispiace per la formattazione, ma hai avuto l'idea.

Crea un metodo per l'immagine nel tuo modello di immagine

class Image < ActiveRecord::Base
   belongs_to :plant
   validates_presence_of :uploaded_picture
   ...
end

Nel tuo controller delle piante

def plant_pic
  img = Image.find(params[:id])      
  # THE NEXT LINE IS THE ONE I THINK YOU ARE MISSING:
  send_data img.uploaded_picture, :filename =>"plant#{img.plant_id}_#{img.id.to_s}+'.jpg',

E poi nella vista delle piante:

Potresti voler codificare / decodificare il campo binario upload_picture in qualche modo (io uso Base64.encode e Base64.decode) nel tuo controller di immagini, ma questo è un altro problema.
