Errore di sintassi, inaspettata '{' quando si utilizza il Facebook PHP-SDK

Sto cercando di ottenere il progetto Flash della mia squadra su Facebook, ma non riesco a ottenere qualsiasi degli esempi PHP-SDK per lavoro. Ho seguito diversi esempi, come questa nuova su github ( qui ). Tuttavia, continuo a ricevere un errore di analisi:

Ho scaricato l'ultima PHP-SDK. Ecco la mia struttura dei file:

Il solo due righe ho cambiato in index.php sono l'appId e segreto.

Ho avuto la stessa "inaspettato '{'" l'errore quando si segue questo esempio .
Che cosa sto facendo di sbagliato ???
Soluzione
Il server è più probabile esecuzione PHP4, il codice fornito è per PHP5.
PHP4 non ha blocchi try / catch.
Altri suggerimenti
Se si va a "facebook.php" e "base_facebook.php", gli stretti tag per php manca, "?>" In fondo alla pagina. Ho sentito dire che questo ha causato problemi per alcuni, e ha ottenuto risolto quando hanno aggiunto tag di chiusura. Si può provare;)
Ma dopo aver visto la risposta dal tizio su di me, che è probabilmente la risposta corretta! : P
