Chrome salva il file in streaming come .gz

Question

Ho sbattuto la testa contro il muro con questo strano comportamento su Chrome

Ho file archiviati crittografati su disco in uno stato senza nome, non ordinato. quando i file vengono scaricati dall'utente, il client viene reindirizzato a un gestore di download (.ashx) i dati vengono caricati in un flusso, decrittografati e inviati al client. Ora ha funzionato bene fino a poco tempo fa,

Funziona bene su tutti i browser tranne Chrome in cui il file viene scaricato come file .gz ed è illeggibile?

Ho eliminato le parti di recupero e crittografia dello stream per brevità (tieni presente che funziona perfettamente su Internet Explorer, Firefox ecc.)

Qualsiasi aiuto sarebbe molto apprezzato.

Nota che il nome del file è codekiwi.txt e il contenuto è un semplice testo semplice, il file viene salvato come codekiwi.txt.gz e contiene incomprensibili.

Ok, l'ho risolto da solo. Ho scoperto che Chrome (e Firefox) VERAMENTE non gradiscono la risposta. Chiama ClearHeaders, per qualche motivo IE è stato d'accordo con questo, una volta rimosso il download ha funzionato come previsto di nuovo ...
