Come far funzionare MySQL su grails 2.0

Question

Grails 2.0 sembra avere alcune modifiche a DataSource.groovy e non mi sembra di essere in grado di far funzionare mysql come era nella 1.3.7

Ho creato grails install-dependency mysql:mysql-connector-java:5.1.16 invece di scaricare semplicemente .jar in lib.Ho sentito che questo è il modo per farlo in questi giorni.

Ecco cosa ho sostituito nel mio DataSource.groovy:

driverClassName = "org.h2.Driver"

Con

driverClassName = "com.mysql.jdbc.Driver"

Cambiando ovviamente nome utente, password e dbNamer in voci valide ... Cosa sto facendo di sbagliato?Esiste un tutorial di Grails 2.0 che copre la configurazione di mysql?

install-dependency scarica semplicemente il jar e lo inserisce nella cache di Ivy.Ma non hai dichiarato che la tua applicazione ha una dipendenza da quel jar.BuildConfig.groovy ha una dichiarazione di dipendenza commentata per il driver MySQL.Basta rimuovere il commento e aggiornare la versione, se lo si desidera, che la aggiungerà al classpath dell'applicazione.Inoltre, scaricherà il jar nella tua cache Ivy se non lo avessi fatto con install-dependency.

Ho finito per scrivere uno script fantastico che verifica la connessione a MySQL.Segue il codice.Inseriscilo in scripts / TestMysql.groovy ed esegui ad es.come

Il primo "test" consiste nell'eseguire lo script nell'ambiente di test, nel caso in cui ci siano modifiche in DataSource.groovy.

Se puoi connetterti a MySQL con questo script, almeno conoscerai le impostazioni corrette per il tuo DataSource.groovy.In caso di successo stampa anche la relativa sezione dataSource {} da inserire in DataSource.groovy.

Aggiorna : in effetti, una volta che questo script funzionava, è stato facile far funzionare anche Grails.Dovevo solo fare grails clean, eliminare tutti i file *.class sopravvissuti, ripristinare il DataSource.groovy originale e quindi grails compile --refresh-dependencies.Quindi cambia DataSource.groovy e funziona a meraviglia.
