vim Comment Newlines Comportamento imprevisto

Question

Usando vim, quando inizio un commento con //, immediatamente dopo aver digitato uno spazio, inizia una nuova riga di commento.

Ad esempio, se ho digitato quanto segue:

//hello world my name is stefan

Vorrei ottenere:

//hello
//world
//my
//name
//is
//stefan

Questo comportamento si è manifestato anche nel codice Python, dove se inizio una riga con la stampa, ogni spazio viene interpretato come una nuova riga

È questo il comportamento previsto o ho un'impostazione incasinata? Quanto segue è il mio .vimrc:

La mia ipotesi è che tu abbia confuso "tw " (aka larghezza di testo) e il vecchio comando vi per impostare il margine di testo "wm". & Quot; tw " imposta la larghezza effettiva della pagina (es. tw = 77 significa che vuoi 77 lettere per riga) ma "quot" wm " imposta la distanza dal bordo dello schermo da avvolgere, quindi su uno schermo a 80 colonne "wm = 3" avrebbe lo stesso effetto di "tw = 77". Quindi, se il tuo tw è impostato su qualcosa di molto piccolo, cercherebbe di racchiudere ogni parola.

Non riesco a individuarlo nel tuo VIMRC, ma sembra che il tuo tw sia impostato su qualcosa di basso (diverso da 0), come 5 o giù di lì. Prova a impostare tw = 0 e guarda cosa succede.

EDIT:
Come ha sottolineato Paul, potresti aver confuso tw (textwidth) e ts (tabstop) che è comunemente impostato su 4 o 2.
