Utilizzo di AsserTraiss - Gestione delle eccezioni propagate

Ho un codice in cui sto testando un'eccezione avvolta, quando non è riuscita e l'eccezione si è propagata ho pensato che il messaggio di errore e la traccia della schiena non fossero abbastanza verbose, principalmente perché non mi diceva cosa ci si aspettava rispetto al test , Vorrei i dettagli dell'eccezione e delle aspettative.
Ho regolato il mio test (vedere il codice di esempio di seguito). Vorrei sapere se questo tipo di approccio è valido e se uno dei test di Python o deridere i framework consente di implementarlo direttamente? (Attualmente sto usando Unittest e MOX)
Una delle risposte a questa domanda Tocca brevemente l'adeguatezza dell'utilizzo di Self.Fail in questo scenario, ma non è davvero elaborato. La mia ipotesi è che se provo a limitare il test a un'area, sto bene per fallire il test.
