Come faccio ad avere il generale Tipo di file descrizione in base all'estensione come Explorer lo fa? Quindi non MIME, ma le informazioni che l'utente finale vede, come.
.doc = Microsoft Office Word 97-2003 documento .zip = file ZIP .avi = file video.
E come posso ottenere le informazioni 'secondaria' che sembra essere disponibile, che credo che non estensione base. Come su "File Video" si può dare la 'lunghezza' del film o file doc quante pagine ha .. ecc ecc ..

in shlwapi.h .

Alcuni extra se di per i tipi di file sconosciuto nella XP .. Non può davvero dare i giusti risultati quando lo si utilizza con qualsiasi cosa, ma FriendlyDocName, ma solo per fare un esempio:
