Can't access Users Section in phpMyAdmin

Question

I'm working with Denwer. I login to the phpMyAdmin and it loads normally, until I click the Users section (the section where I can control users privileges and other stuff).

It gives me 3 errors!

1. MySQL said: #1045 - Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: NO)

2. Connection for controluser as defined in your configuration failed.

3. phpMyAdmin tried to connect to the MySQL server, and the server rejected the connection. You should check the host, username and password in your configuration and make sure that they correspond to the information given by the administrator of the MySQL server.

The point is I managed to log in to the phpMyAdmin itself but can't edit users now!

Try remove lines

$cfg['Servers'][$i]['user'] = 'root';
$cfg['Servers'][$i]['password'] = 'root';

Or change $cfg['Servers'][$i]['controlpass'] = 'root'; to $cfg['Servers'][$i]['controlpass'] = ''; - тew password is empty.
