質問

emacs のファイル名補完で奇妙な動作が発生しています。C-x C-f でファイルを検索すると、i:/cygwin/home/rrajagop/StockScreener/working_copy/master_repo/stock_screener/ でミニバッファが開きます。TAB を押すと、i:/cygwini:/cygwin/home/rrajagop/StockScreener/working_copy/master_repo/stock_screener/ になります。私が気づいた興味深い点がいくつかあります。

  1. ミニバッファが開くと、i:/cygwin がグレー表示され、パスが /home から始まるように見えます。C-a (行頭に移動) を押すと、i:/cygwin ではなく /home に移動します。したがって、emacs の何かが i:/cygwin からではなく /home から開始するパスを解析しているようです。
  2. TAB が minibuffer.el から minibuffer-complete を実行していることを確認しました (TAB の description-key を実行することで)。そのため、minibuffer-complete が cygwin 用に何らかの変換を行って、余分な i:/cygwin を追加しているようです。
